Anti-Procrastination Night

2 December 2019

Anti-Procrastination Night is an opportunity for participants to use dedicated time to work on and complete projects and writing assignments. This event is open to students, faculty, and staff. Librarians will be available for reference support, and the Writing Center will be open throughout the event. Participants can drop in at any point and stay for as long as they wish.

We also encourage instructors to hold office hours for some or all of the event for last minute help with students. Please contact Sara ( if you’re interested in participating in that capacity.

So how does it work?

Participants will check in with the librarians at any point during the event, have a chance to share their work goals for the evening on a white board (for example, “edit and complete the final draft of my FYC Argument essay”) so they have some accountability, and then work independently for rest of the evening (or as long as they wish to stay).
