Library Services for Instructors

This is a short informational video for instructors at Juniata College, highlighting how partnering with the library can enhance in-class, online, hybrid, and hyflex courses.

Research Skills and Information Literacy: Helping Instructors Prepare for HyFlex and Beyond

This video was part of the summer 2020 Hyflex-support workshops made available through CTS. This 20-minute presentation highlights important library services and the newly launched UDL lesson plans to guide instructors on incorporating information literacy activities and outcomes into their courses. The librarians presenting will share how the library made the transition from face-to-face services and instruction to an online-only service model during the COVID-19 pandemic. Recorded content includes a tour of the UDL lesson plan toolbox, the library instruction menu, and how to connect to your library partner.

UDL and Library Materials

Make course materials accessible by incorporating library items in your course. Watch this video to see how we make UDL possible!

Equity extends beyond equality—fairness and universal access—to deliberate and intentional efforts to create service delivery models that will make sure that community members have the resources they need. Often, these needs are different not only as the result of race and ethnicity but also owing to religious beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identification, socioeconomic status or physical ability.

Libraries are major sources of information for society, and in partnership with our vendors, we are continuously working to ensure that our materials are as universally accessible as possible.
